Dubai highlights: Tarkett opens a new showroom and collaborates with key players of Expo 2020

08 November 2021

The Expo 2020 and the Dubai Design Week 2021 are two key events that Tarkett has embraced, demonstrating its commitment to the Middle East.

On November 9th 2021, during the Dubai Design Week, Tarkett will open a new showroom, in the heart of the Dubai Design District, conceived as a hub for a vast array of stakeholders including architects and designers, specifiers and urban planners. Named Atelier Tarkett, it presents a blend of different spaces: a showroom area aimed at demonstrating the creative potential of Tarkett flooring solutions and floor coverings, as well as architectural and working areas to facilitate interactions, hold meetings and host talks, and finally an office space for employees. Created as an illustration of the Tarkett Human-Conscious DesignTM philosophy, which is aimed at putting people and the planet first, the new Atelier Tarkett conveys a welcoming atmosphere. It reflects Tarkett’s belief that interior spaces should support, inspire and connect the people that use them, while at the same time considering the impact on the planet. The new space puts the spotlight on how to change the game with circular economy strategies and making conscious choices for people and the planet.

From October 2021 to March 2022, the Dubai World Expo is showcasing cutting edge and innovative solutions from across the world. Tarkett UAE has worked to equip 19 pavilions, representing more than 60,000 square metres, with its flooring products. The pavilions feature a wide array of Tarkett luxury vinyl tiles, linoleum, heterogeneous and homogeneous products, carpet tiles, and sports surfaces. Tarkett is also an active part of a working group, which is led by the French Government to showcase the benefits of a circular economy.
